Hello! My name is Waylon. I came to Ruff start from an impound where I found myself after being left tied up outside an apartment building. I am so happy to be inside and with my foster family. 

I am a sweet playful boy who has lots of energy and love to give. I do great with all the people. I live with big and small dogs now and I love to play with them but I do have some issues sharing my mom and being around food with the other dogs in my home, I am working on learning that its okay to share attention. I just love my people so much I want them to give me all  the cuddles. 

So for now my parents think I should go to a home without other dogs, where I can be the star of the home! 

No kitties for me as I get way to excited to see them. 

My foster parents do not have kids but they think I would love some Kiddos to play with.

I walk well on my leash and barley pull, I am still working on my crate training, I do pretty well but will sometimes bark and cry but calm down quickly. I know to go potty outside and go to the door to let mom know to let me out.

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).

Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
